Freedom of Choice with Compassion Centers Patients will be able to use any compassion center. No need to register a compassion center as a caregiver. A patient may use all three of them, one or two of them, or none of them. Compassion Centers will have data base so that maximum of 2.5 ounces in a 15 day period can be enforced. Effective date for this provision will be July 1, 2016. Comment: Currently, if a patient wants to use a compassion center, they must register that compassion center as one of their caregivers. A patient with a personal caregiver could only appoint one compassion center. No patient has had access to all three. Now patients will have mobility and freedom to compare and make informed decisions. This was in the Governor’s original proposal.

Are prices and type the same at all Centers? Does any of the centers have the powder?
Could you please provide me with the locations of the other 2 centers.
Hi Nancy,
Summit Medical Compassion Center is located at 380 Jefferson Blvd in Warwick Rhode Island. We can only speak for ourselves as far as what we offer. We always recommend calling ahead before your visit to insure we have what you are looking for in stock. Our main number is 401-889-3990. Thank you for your interest.
So just to be completely clear, I can walk into ANY Rhode Island compassion center with just my ID and medical card and I’m good?
Hi Mark,
If you have been issued a medical marijuana card in the state of Rhode Island, you have the freedom to choose which dispensary in Rhode Island to go to. I hope this answers your question. Thank you for inquiring.
My comment was can you send me information on what is avalable please
Can you let.me know what is some prices on weed and dabs only high in T.H.C.no CBD
Hi Dennis, I would suggest calling or stopping by to get the latest up to date availability and pricing.
Have you ever considered about including a little bit more than just your articles? I mean, what you say is fundamental and everything. But think of if you added some great graphics or videos to give your posts more, “pop”! Your content is excellent but with pics and video clips, this site could definitely be one of the greatest in its niche. Fantastic blog!
Thank you for your suggestion Emmitt! Yes we will be adding videos in the near future.
If I already have 2 caregivers.. 1 who is not dispensing any more can I still come to you without changing name on health dept form
Hi Marcia, you are able to go to any dispensary in the State of R.I. without changing the name on the Dept of Health form. I hope this answered your question.
Are seeds available for purchase to licensed caregivers? If not, how does one acquire them legally.
Hi Miriam,
You are able to purchase seeds as a licensed caregiver as long as you bring your patient or your patients medical marijuana card as well as their I.D. I hope this answered your question.

I have never found a grower. There are no call sheets just word od mouth and most growers have met their limit. I have used the TS place to buy but it can be expensive. When i first went to you, you were just getting started and its been a while. How does one go about finding a care grower. Just asking around i feel like a victim. Any suggestions?
Hi Diane, unfortunately we do not connect patients to care givers. I would suggest you contact RIPAC 401-861-1601 to assist you with finding the right care giver that grows what you are looking for. Please feel free to stop by if you have not been in for a while. Also, watch for our workshops and events in case you may be interested in attending any. Our Yoga
classes are going to start this month 2x per month. They are complimentary to our patients but we just need to make sure that patients Register in advance. Thank you for taking the time to write us.
